Elvgren 1.0
So this theme has been a long time coming and there’s much more planned for it. But for the time being, this is it, and for display purposes it is currently the default on this blog but just in case you can’t see it, a screen capture is below:
Alas, this is inspired by the Gil Elvgren image used by Michael Heileman for his personal Freya theme for
Binary Bonsai. It features one nice tidbit worth mentioning: a random image rotator script that changes the masthead image on the upper left. If there’s enough interest, future plans definitely include PHP code factoring and breaking the theme down to even more components such as a 404 page, a special page made for single posts, and special comment handling.Originally produced for the Wordpress Theme Competition, gracefully hosted & managed by Alex King, over at

UPDATE: Elvgren 1.02 is up and running. This fixes the big and annoying IE bug that forces posts half-way down the page. Download the update below.
