Waiting On The World To Change

By Emile • Jul 7th, 2007 • Category: General, Noteworthy

It’s here, 07.07.07 - it’s a big day for a number of reasons. By Emile • Mar 18th, 2007 • Category: General, Noteworthy

I have yet to officially make it to a SXSW web conference, not because of the lack of desire, but resources both time and financial.  Last year, some of my favorite posts were on the business cards that were collected: get a bunch of designers together and you can easily and simply expect that the […]

More on that cool business card

By Emile • Mar 12th, 2007 • Category: General, Noteworthy

I’m proud to see that the site survived an avalanche of both Digg and Reddit traffic that spiked on Friday.  The post that was so noted was on the above pictured business card. You read about things that take off on Digg, but are seldom prepared for it when it happens. Luckily and […]

Back in the say of FileMaker 5, when we were thankful for the new emboss and engrave formatting tool in FileMaker, a website was created called LayoutMode.com
I don’t know who started this site, but the premise was simple and beautiful enough: if you design it, people will come to see it. It was created […]

America

By Emile • Mar 29th, 2006 • Category: General, Noteworthy

“Everything that is wrong with America can be fixed by everything that is right with America”
I believe it with nearly fiber of my being, but most epecially when I read this:
The Pentagon has also found a novel way of recovering some of the $240 billion it has spent to fight its losing war in Iraq: […]

Who would you want to be?

By Emile • Mar 23rd, 2006 • Category: General, Noteworthy, WWW

So the idea came up from a blog post on MikeIndustries.com and is along the lines of if you could sit with anyone at dinner… So to paraphrase:
Who would you most like to be? And in one sentence, why?
I would maybe add a dimension in asking who would you want to know - after […]
