The studious lads at Six Fried Rice were kind enough to put together a really thorough and enlightening post on the trials and tribulations we have on dealing with damaged files and corruption of data in FileMaker. I won’t regurgitate what they were kind enough to write up so take a look at the full post and walk away a more savvy FM user and developer. Oh, and by the way, NEVER USE THE FILE MAINTENANCE OPTIONS & MENU in FileMaker Advanced. (I learned this the hardway and I’m still pissed about it - 5 weeks later). Carry on…
