NOTCOT: iPhone Packaging

There are enough blogs, reviews, newspaper articles, press releases, and magazine clippings about the iPhone to satiate any fanatic, but there still is something to be said and Lev Grossman of Time Magazine puts it well:
“… every moment of user interaction has been quietly stage-managed and orchestrated”
And he goes on with flowery language (that is absolutely appropriate) for those who managed and oversaw this project. But where others fail is where Apple excels - take a look at the presentation of the iPhone upon its first release from your iBag and iBox: nearly every detail has been exacted upon and examined for necessity, simplicity, elegance, interactivity, and more. This is why Apple succeeds in such endeavors, because no proverbial stone is seriously left unturned. Everything from the bag, to the red label for those who waited in line, to the dead simple but beautifully straightforward minimalist manual that is included. Not to say that the iPhone isn’t without its faults, but it will surely get better and I can’t wait to see what comes next. All of the images were found via two great but small NOTCOT.ORG posts - you can read them here and here.
