The New ‘It’ Camera Bag
I recently returned from an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING snowboard trip in the Rockies of Colarado. Upon preparation, I realized I wanted to bring my digital SLR on the slopes without putting it at full risk - yes, I fall on my arse a lot. A number of solutions crossed my mind, but when I saw a friend with this I knew I had to have it.
It’s called the Slingshot 100 AW by LowePro and it’s perfect for storing a lot of stuff in a simple, comfortable, and slender form. It’s also heavily padded and has slot and pockets for a number of things, in addition to the velcro lined interior which lets you cutom configure the interior compartments just the way you prefer. Should you get stuck in inclement weather, it had a rain-hood to really keep the moisture out. It accomodates a boatload of stuff and complements it with a heavily padded and ergonomic sling strap. The curvature of the strap lets you go from carry to ready in under 10 seconds. On the heels of LowePro celebrating their 40th anniversary of being in business, it’s nice to see that they are still producing some wonderfully designed products. I can’t recommend it enough!
