The 2007 Philosophy
The logo for Secret Weapon Labs has been a bit of a creative prick/splinter in my mind for years. I’ve designed a number of logos but the one for my own company has never satisfied me, or at least satisfied me for more than a couple of days, for one reason or another. Primarily, it has stemmed from the role of this company in the business world, and how I wanted that role to be played. It’s been about being in the creative game, and being sharp at it.
There’s a number of things swirling around, but the first and foremost is my current project - due out soon - which I can’t yet divulge full info on. It’s been an enormous multiple year-long journey which is far from over, but really beginning. It’s been fueled by a number of things, but primarily a Zen concept or philosophical equation: if you had 3 colors, and four strokes of paint, what would you make?
