- First and foremost is the great development that FileMaker Inc is really embracing the possibilities open to developers thru the new WebViewer control available to users of version 8.5. There’s a whole write up and sample file download at FileMaker Inc, that’s worth using

- HelpLogic: I’m a biiiiiiiiig fan of this product and have been following it’s eveolution for quite some time. It’s a smooth little app useful for designing Help sections for software whether by HTML or PDF. It’s finally out of beta and now at version 1.0 for $99. If you write software and need to provide in-software documentation, this may be for you.

- Lastly, Chris J. Davis has a great writeup on hacking and mashing together Slideshow Pro, CSS, and JS. It’s definitely worth the read. Plus, he’s Pink for October!

Does anyone know if there is real documentation on the Filemaker Charting files? The little one page tutorial is great, but I’d like to see how they made it… and how far it can stretch. Simple question: can you make a line graph with MORE than one line? For something Filemaker is advertising as a feature there seems to be very little information on how to use it.
Brett,
I didn’t find any documentation other than what was provided, in file, for the the FileMaker reporting example. There is certainly a VERY strong and good business opportunity for quality FileMaker reporting visuals, likely done in Flash, that goes beyond the charting example that FileMaker provided recently. I’m actually working on it myself. Anyone else out there, with any interest in making a quality FileMaker charting Flash app?? Please get in touch with me…
