Hello.

So I have tried all of them out on an iPad.

Out of the four the two at the bottom look the nicest. They fit really well, the only thing you might want to adjust is the font for the 3rd one as they show up a bit blurry. It might be fine for someone younger but if your audience is an older audience you might run into issues with them, assuming you are using text for the wording and not an image. I would advice you to put the divider line after each option as rather than putting the dotted line after each category. The first impression you get when you look at the 3rd one is that it was made on something like Square Space, most people might not know what that is but for people who do it might look a bit inspired. I am more of a typography person so the blurriness kinda bothers me a bit, I am not sure what settings you are using for your anti aliasing filter. The spacing is perfect between the letters.

Other than that, would love to see the final product. :)

Hi Juanita,

Thanks for the complements! I didn't have any major problems with getting this to adhere to the curves of this cake. I did use a dry spatula to push/slide it in to the curvets better than my fingers could. No tearing of the fondant, either. It did wrinkly a bit but I'm willing to accept the fault given it was my first time.

I think the practice loaf was key and I did a trial run of my loaf, but didn't apply fondant. I did make several batches of fondant and had enough on hand thankfully. Next time I use the food coloring though, I'm wearing food-prep gloves - I had red hands for a week thereafter!

What an amazing job you did on this cake! Especially considering it to be the second one you have made. I have just attempted my first cake decorated with fondant and also followed this same recipe and it turned out wonderfully. I substitued the shortening for oil as well, simply because I did not have it on hand and it turned out fine. Did you have any problems with smoothing out the fondant over this cake? I have seen all the tools and supplies , but simply used my hands to smooth mine. I started on a loaf as a practice piece so it was very basic...but yours had several curves.

I am indeed and am building up more of the research and content to address the questions.

I've heard mixed reviews of FileMaker over WAN as well; however, I have noticed some worthy speed improvements using a Separation Method architecture during networking. On startup of Sep Method files, I do notice a slightly slower startup, but I think the performance hit is worth it

curious if you're still working on the series. I've heard mixed reviews when using Filemaker over a WAN connection. My biggest concern is data corruption due to client's loss of connection. You experience anything like this?
