It’s really a wonderful thing when you see a simple principle caring for a simple idea in a complex world. I just read about Skateistan this morning on the NYTimes site and couldn’t help but smile.  You have to wonder about what one person can do to change lives with so many rules, dogmas, and cultural differences, but this is a great example of how such a simple idea is transformative for young Afghan youth.  I encourage anyone to read the Times article.
