The Stupidest Web Shortcuts

Forgive the rant, but who the heck thought of using the Command+Left and Command+Right shortcut for Back and Forward in a web browser (I’m looking at you Firefox)???  I can’t even begin to count the number of times this shortcut has created necktie-in-the-shredder frustration and had me accidentally backing out of a WordPress post or eBay listing as I was simply trying to skip and advance to the end of a line in a text field.  Try using that shortcut in TextEdit and witness the joys of happy typing.  Use it in Firefox and even Safari and just find yourself pissed off…

Don’t get me started on one of the greatest stupidities perpetuated by IE, the use of the Delete button as a shortcut for the Back command.  That “feature” is as wonderful as your new puppy pissing on your favorite shoes AND your bed.

Rant over.  You may carry on about your business now.
