I went to see the movie with my wife and my mother and they made the same comment, that it wasn’t clear why V had what seemed like supernatural abilities. I think this is more of a case of vocabulary than anything else. I haven’t had a chance to see the movie in English (I had to see it dubbed into spanish) but there it’s clearly said that the experiments yielded enhanced “kinesthesic” (my translation) abilities.
