So the idea came up from a blog post on MikeIndustries.com and is along the lines of if you could sit with anyone at dinner… So to paraphrase:

Who would you most like to be? And in one sentence, why?

I would maybe add a dimension in asking who would you want to know – after all, do I REALLY need to experience Nietzche’s schizophrenia or Steve Jobs pancreatic cancer??  Narrowing it down to one is difficult, but here’s a good start from my head:

1. Da Vinci – To be privy to that level of genius would be an honor
2. Clearly Steve Jobs
3. Ben Franklin – Ditto
4. Jimi Hendrix
5. Stevie Ray Vaughan
6. Alex Hamilton – Ditto, until I met up with that dude Aaron Burr
7. Abe Lincoln – Nuff said
8. Hugh Hefner – sure, why not?
9. Oprah
10. Maya Angelou

Note that the majority of commenters on Mike’s post stick with the same gender, even though there is no requirement to do so.  Who are your picks?
