I would like to report I have Taft back in proper shape at http://vkaryl.net/talespinner/. In the various server moves etc, it appears that some of the files got corrupted (not necessarily an unusual occurence). I uploaded a fresh set of files with the tweaks I’d made replicated, and all’s good.

Now if I can just find the time to move all the posts as I’d intended to! *sigh*

Nor have I had a chance to do one bit of reinstalling etc. Though I’m planning to remedy that now that my server-moving about seems to have settled finally….

As to specific changes: I began having a problem with the Taft graphics failing to completely display (not the pngs, the jpgs!) about the time I posted here. I was hoping a reinstall with the new distro might sort that out. I will post back once I see what’s what (if anything!) with it.

It is just barely possible that the new server will solve the problem. In any case, I will let you know. Assuming RL doesn’t bury me again….

Thanks for posting abou this. I haven’t tried any of the the themes yet in WP2.0. This is some kind of a nasty bug that I’ll have to look into. For the time being, I haven’t the slightest clue of why this could be happening, but I’ll look into it and get back to you!

I installed the only download for taft available at http://www.secretweaponlabs.com/words/taft-10/ but when I uploaded the the theme into my wordpress 2.0 themes directory, I get only the raw text in my browser [pls see: http://www.geocities.com/sitestuff2001/wp/taft1_inwpadminchosen.gif and [http://www.geocities.com/sitestuff2001/wp/taft1_inwpadmin.gif].

I’ve tried it both my local[windows] and remote [linux] wp installs and the problem persists.

What do you think could be the problem?

Thanks for the recent comment. I was seriously wondering what had happened to you as you had such great enthusiasm for the Taft theme template, which I appreciate. Indeed, Taft has been updated to 1.01 – I seemed to have never updated the stylesheet with the appropriate version number, but nonetheless the changes were implemented.

What specific changes were you looking for? As of yet, the PNG issue is still (unfortunately)… the PNG issue. Other than that, let me know and I’ll try to update it for you.

this post isn’t specifically “taft”, but it’s the latest one under the Taft heading, which is why I’m commenting here.

I downloaded the Taft distro again, seeing that you stated it had been updated to 1.01; however, the file I downloaded is exactly the same as I got in March. Is there another link to the 1.01 download?
